Seattle Artist’s Help Stroke Victims in the UK!

“Art washes from the soul the dust of everyday life.” ~ Pablo Picasso

Along with a few other Seattle Art Link members I am  particapating in an  Auction  for  Stroke victims taking  place in  Stoke-on-Trent December 7, 2011. This will be my  first  event to  participate in  outside the  United States. We  will be mailing a box to England this week. I wish I was   able to  go in person!

The Stroke Art Cafe are a support group in Stoke-on-Trent for those affected by stroke. As a non-profit group they rely on fundraising and donations to help keep the group stocked with art supplies and equipment. 100% from the auction will go to the group.

For more information  about the  auction or  about the non  profit visit, Stroke Art Cafe Art therapy  can really do amazing things !

A Good Sport! Util i Tilt & Utlikilt

I  had a little too much fun at  the  Pioneer Square  Art walk  traditionally  known as “First Thursday” .  I  invited folks into   the store to check out my work and then I  asked them to  try in a kilt.  Many  were hesitate but I did have  some good sports!
